Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH)
CBH combines the practical tools of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with the focused calm of hypnosis. Recognised by the British Psychological Society as an evidence-based approach for stress, anxiety, and behavioural change, it helps you understand how thoughts, emotions, and physical reactions link together and then retrain those patterns at both the conscious and subconscious level.
You remain fully aware and in control throughout, it’s not about being “under,” but about creating the optimal mental state to rewire old responses and build calmer ones faster.
Gut-Directed Hypnotherapy
While CBH focuses on retraining the mind’s stress and thought patterns, Gut-Directed Hypnotherapy applies these same principles to the gut–brain axis, the two-way communication system between your mind and digestive system.
When that connection becomes overactive through stress or anxiety, it can trigger symptoms such as bloating, urgency, or discomfort. Gut-Directed Hypnotherapy helps retrain that communication, calming the nervous system, reducing gut sensitivity, and restoring natural digestive balance.
This approach is evidence-based and recommended by the NHS and NICE for IBS and stress-related digestive issues.
